Hosted on Instagram, Chair of Virtue is a digital visual magazine with a cult following dedicated to promoting innovative design concepts and artistic explorations in the realm of sculptural chair design. The platform features pieces from established and emerging talent as well as archival material, inviting contemplation and seeking to foster a deeper understanding of design processes and the intersection of functionality and artistry and the relationship between aesthetics and function. Founded and curated by Adam Maryniak, a Cracow native London based maker with background in scenic carpentry, since 2020 focused on encouraging the conversation and exploration of design of sculptural chairs by researching, making and giving platform to up and coming makers from around the world.
