Atelier ARBO is a young architectural practice started by Ar. Rinka D’Monte in 2019 in Mumbai, India. The firm strongly supports issues related to climate change and believes in sustainable architectural practice. With over 15 years of practice, the firm deals with residential and institution projects and has further evolved into focussing on Urban Design projects and Landscape Work. She has worked upon 10 Urban Design and landscape projects within the past 3 years (specially due to COVID needs) along with Mumbai Municipal Corporation to make a visible change in the city of Mumbai. The firm developed ideas which can make better use of the public open spaces in the city. The firms experimentation with a variety of sustainable materials and locally sourced are of great inspiration for creating spaces which are calming and welcoming at the same breath. The studio will practice with local craftsman and workers to learn and spread the awareness about such unique materials.
