For London Design Festival 2023 RALPH PUCCI International is pleased to present Beans, a new collection of lighting and furniture, by influential Parisian designer Elizabeth Garouste. Garouste will create a bespoke mural inspired by Beans’ free flowing forms and arresting colours at the RALPH PUCCI (London) gallery.
Beans includes seven new Plasterglass works, the Priscille chandelier, Mona sconce, Tom dining table with marble top, Ara side table with mosaic top, Jim console, Leon table lamp, and Herman mirror. Almost 10 years since her first show with Ralph Pucci, Garouste crafted Beans, a new collection, while in residence at the RALPH PUCCI (sculpture studio) in Manhattan. The designs were modelled in RALPH PUCCI’s proprietary Plasterglass material, resulting in pieces that combine the influences of the middle ages and neoclassicism to create a whimsical illusion of antiquity caught into non-linear patterns and biomorphic shapes. Garouste worked with the Ralph Pucci team to incorporate colour and even a new material – mosaic - into the free-flowing sculptural forms, sparking gaiety with the final vibrant pieces.
