Perry-James Sugden

Perry-James Sugden holds an MA from the Royal College of Art and is co-founder of Studio Above&Below – a London based art, design and technology practice. Combining XR, digital art and data, the studio draws together unseen connections between humans, machines and the environment. Their work has been exhibited internationally at institutions such as the Royal Academy, Tate Modern, HeK Basel, MEET Milan, NRW Forum Düsseldorf and the V&A London. Previous prizes and fundings include Lumen Prize (shortlisted), Bloomberg Bursary, Factory Berlin x Sonar+D Artist in Residency and the S+T+Arts x Nesta Italia City of the Future prize. Their work has been published in magazines including the New York Times, MAXON, Arte and It’s Nice That.
