Lee Broom

Lee Broom is one of the UK’s leading product designers. With his highly original brand of luxury furniture and lighting designs, his work is recognised and retailed internationally across the globe. In the last ten years since he founded the company, Broom has created over 100 furniture, accessory and lighting pieces,  all of which are designed, manufactured and retailed under the Lee Broom label. Broom’s products combine a unique mix of classicism and modernity all with an unexpected edge which highlight his use of craftsmanship and conceptual design.  Alongside his own label Broom has also designed products and interiors for other leading global brands including Christian Louboutin and Mulberry and has designed over 45 commercial retail, restaurant and bar interiors.


The Lee Broom brand was established with a debut range of limited edition furniture and lighting, ‘Neo Neon’, during The London Design Festival in 2007, firmly established his name in the industry as the one to watch with products that are both unique and familiar. Since then Broom has launched two new collections each year during Milan Design Week and The London Design Festival, which sell globally and grace magazine covers and newspapers internationally. Broom is heavily influenced by both his fashion and theatre backgrounds which can be seen in the sense of drama and narrative his collections create. Using the design world as a stage you can always expect the unexpected, theatrical and immersive from his shows.


Winning over 20 awards to date, including the prestigious British Designer of the Year in 2012, he has also won four awards in three consecutive years in the British Design Awards for the iconic ‘Crystal Bulb’. In 2015 Broom was awarded Best Lighting Design for the Crescent Light, an Art Deco inspired globe with a contemporary twist and one of Broom’s best selling designs. More recently, Broom was presented with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, the UK’s highest accolade for business success, by Her Majesty The Queen at Buckingham Palace. 


By creating a highly originally collection of coveted products and a Lee Broom universe, making the brand an experience for people to become part of, Broom has made design a successful global business. In addition to his own flagship showrooms in London and New York, his designs are retailed in over 254 stores in 48 countries worldwide.
