These vase-like sculptures by Andy Lomas are a series of explorations into how complex organic forms can be created computationally by simulation of growth processes.

Inspired by the work of Alan Turing, D'Arcy Thompson and Ernst Haeckel, it exists at the boundary between art and science. All forms are generated using a simplified model of cellular growth.
