Portobello Pavilion

First produced in 2015 by curator Tim Burke as part of the InTRANSIT Festival,  the Portobello Pavilion, an architecturally designed temporary cultural space has been a regular summer fixture in Powis Square W11. It is a unique collaborative social engagement project between architect, artist, and public, delivering free art and design projects and cultural talks. This year the Portobello Pavilion partners with LDF to celebrate North Kensington’s art and design practice. The Museum of Architecture join a panel of members of the North Kensington creative community to judge a design competition with a diverse selection of architects, announcing the winner on 25th July.

Supported by FINSA, The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Arts Council England.
