Central St Martins Recent MA & BA Ceramics Graduates

Emerging Artists and Designers from Central St Martin's MA and BA Ceramic degree programmes have come together for Lasting Impressions, an exhibition of their graduating work at the Crypt Gallery on Euston Road. This diverse group of practitioners are keen to show the breadth of possibilities that their discipline presents. From cutting-edge tableware and product designers to craft potters, ceramic sculptors to clay activists, clay stop-motion animators to surface designers. This fresh crop of talent is pushing the boundaries of what is technically possible, creating beautiful objects to make our everyday lives more harmonious, setting the agenda of social commentary.

In their hands, this material is tackling diverse and complex issues facing our contemporary society from the expression of emotions, racial discrimination, global warming, to loss of insects and flowers in our neighbourhoods. Travelling through a Pakistani truck art, fast fashion, Mayan Tirtuals, how the new Duchess of Cambridge is treated in the press, and many more.
