Well-being is an essential element of our sustainable future, and design plays a vital role in our well-being. As part of LDF22, we wanted to produce a mural painted by light, paying tribute to the power of design created by the people who bring well-being to our built environment. The challenge We challenged the architecture and design community to create an illustration that addresses "how design can help create environments that foster well-being and enrich our lives". The concept A GOBO (GOes Before Optics) is, in essence, a stencil which produces a light projection of an image on a surface. We will reproduce a winning graphic design onto the wall outside our office using our high-precision Profile Projector, equipped with a Gobo. The winning announcement The winner's design of our GOBO competition will be unveiled on Thursday, 22 Sept in our Southwark office, when the evening hit the pre-defined level of darkness.
