Join us at Ligne Roset Chelsea to experience the reissue of the iconic Kashima Settee. Reminiscent of the traditional Chesterfield, the Kashima was originally designed by Michel Ducaroy in 1976. This all-foam seat combines simplicity and comfort to create the perfect modern twist on this classic design.
Kashima, with its all-foam seating and eye-catching appearance offers soft comfort in it's rounded and curved lines with integrated armrests, lumbar and headrest. The multiple layers of high-density foam that Kashima is composed of, guarantees the longevity synonymous with Ligne Roset designs. The fully quilted cover forms “pinched” seams at the corners, reinforced by interior laces and using invisible tie rods, placed inside the foam. The simplicity of the Kashima gives it a timeless appeal, but now with modern 2023 updates, making it the most technically elaborate all-foam design of the collection. The Kashima's seat height of 38cm, makes this model taller than Michel Ducaroy's Togo counterpart. The Kashima's substantial construction, with its four densities of foam, clad in a layer of polyester quilting for its frame, makes it durable yet supportive for the back and gives a double surface comfort. Kashima is available in multiple configurations including a medium sized sofa and a corner sofa with integrated armrests, which can easily be scaled up to meet the needs of your space. this iconic settee is sure to become the centrepiece of any modern living space.
