Meet the Founders

Built on a 100-year history in optics, Kirk & Kirk was founded by Jason and Karen Kirk to create inspiring and exciting eyewear. Their mission was to create frames for a new generation that were as bold, and individual as the customers who wear them…frames that were not limited by trends or defined by labels but recognised by the individuality of their design. Jason and Karen worked to develop the world’s first and only formulation of acrylic for eyewear which enabled them to produce designs that were bolder and more luminescent while remaining light and comfortable to wear. Focusing initially on the professional optical market, their frames attracted a small but enthusiastic clientele of outliers and creatives, but the brand quickly gained momentum, capturing the attention of celebrities such as Robert Downey Jr, Samuel L Jackson, 50 Cent and Young Thug.
