Join artists, designers and technologists for a weekend of free workshops, talks and demonstrations exploring the intersection of technology and design.

The Digital Design Weekend is the V&A’s flagship event on digital cultures exploring the impact and influence of technology in society and culture. Taking place during London Design Festival, Digital Design Weekend returns on 24 and 25 September to take over the V&A, with immersive experiences, creative workshops, interactive demonstrations and family-friendly activities taking place around the museum. This year’s festival investigates how digital design can help make the reality of climate change visible to us all. Interactive exhibits will showcase how emerging digital fashion practices can redefine our relationship with fashion and address urgent environmental challenges such as waste and disposability. The festival also invites visitors to reflect on their own online behaviours through playful experiences exploring trust, bias and privacy issues. Events are free and drop-in, but places for some are limited, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment. Most events are suitable for all ages.
