Stories around design, pattern and yarn will be presented in the London showroom, including a look behind the production of Shaw’s own yarn production and its new EcoSolution Q100 fibre – made with 100% recycled content. Celebrating the famous Sanquhar patterns and showcasing flooring designs in commercial interiors.

On February 1st 2011, Shaw Contract announced its acquisition of a carpet tile manufacturing facility in Scotland which would become a base for its production of commercial carpet tiles for the UK, European and Middle East and Africa markets. Our factory is based in the town of Sanquhar and through LDF we will be celebrating a connection between craft and commercial production. Home to the eponymous knitting patterns, Sanquhar has a history of textile production. Stories around design, pattern, weaving and yarn will be presented in the London showroom, including a look behind the production of Shaw’s own yarn production and its new EcoSolution Q100 fibre – made with 100% recycled content.
