Shawn Adams

Shawn Adams is an architectural designer, writer, and lecturer who teaches BA Architecture at Central St Martins, UAL. Previously, a New Architecture Writer, he regularly writes for Wallpaper*, FRAME, and ICON. Shawn has also written for the Financial Times, VICE, and The Architects' Journal. Having studied at the Architectural Association and Royal College of Art, Shawn’s MA Architecture project 'Plinths and Tapestry' was featured in the Financial Times, The Guardian, and was the winner of the 2020 Architects' Journal Postgraduate Student Prize. Shawn is an advocate for diversity and inclusion within the architecture industry and is a RIBAJ Rising Star. He is also the co-founder of POoR Collective, a social enterprise that focuses on the development of communities through the elevation of young people.
