Seetal Solanki

Seetal Solanki is a translator of materials. The Founder and Director of Ma-tt-er, a relational practice focused on providing access to materials through education, consultancy and design. Ma-tt-er works within and across all sectors translating the many ways in which materials can be harnessed to their fullest potential. We work in an interconnected manner so we can address materials holistically and intentionally with the economical, social, political and environmental aspects in mind by applying our research into practical, accessible and relatable outcomes. We have had the privilege to work with and alongside Potato Head Bali, Molonglo Group, NIKE, Google, The Serpentine Gallery, Venice Biennale, Dezeen, The Architectural Association, World Water Day, IKEA/SPACE10, British Council, Onassis Foundation, Atelier 100, Silo Restaurant, The Design Museum, Hyundai and our work has been widely featured internationally.
