Partners: Paul Farrell

Paul Farrell is an artist and illustrator. His work has been inspired by a combination of a love for nature and a passionate interest in the graphic arts. His main body of work, the Tree series, is an example of Paul’s strong graphic style. Silhouettes are the epitome of graphic design and illustration, as they help identify and visually communicate an object clearly by the simplest of methods . The variety and interesting outline of natural forms, in particular the tree, are emphasised by the use of the silhouette.

Colour is as equally important when representing an image. Paul devotes much of his time collecting and applying combinations of colours sourced from natural and urban environments. The subject’s scale, detail and natural form are all an inspiration when creating the final image.

Based in Kent his collection of work continues to develop and expand with new projects for fashion and home wares and private and public commissions. He is represented at major arts and craft galleries and shops throughout the British Isles. Highlights have included exhibiting at The Affordable Art Fair in Bristol and his work featuring on Grand Designs this year.
