Over the last decade, Languedoc-Roussillon has witnessed a far-reaching economic transformation.
One of the Maison de la Région's key objectives is to promote Languedoc-Roussillon's Sud de France-branded food and wine products overseas. The Maison's team has a dedicated representative whose role is to promote the various high-tech industries present within Languedoc-Roussillon, including the IT, biotechnology, life sciences, renewable energy, environment, habitat and building, transport and logistics sectors, showcasing them within the UK market.

La Maison de la Région Languedoc–Roussillon is to host the first exhibition of contemporary regional French design at their showroom in London during the London Design Festival.
With around ten designers on show this exhibition sets out to demonstrate the qualities of the region’s furniture from design innovation to individuality and accessibility in an exciting display created by a team of designers from JJAADA under the direction of Susan Llewellyn Associates.
Designers: ALEXIA CARMONA, APOTHEME, ART AND REFLECTION, DESIGN HEURE, HERVÉ COUTANT, IOVINO DESIGN, LIGNE ROSET.
Painters and sculptors: PASCAL FURMINIEUX, NICK MOSIENKO, JOCELYNE DOLL.
At the heart of the exhibition will be designs by the late Pierre Paulin, a Languedoc designer, who has had a profound influence on the global design scene in collaboration with Ligne Roset.
A "private view" which will be hosted exclusively for them on September 23rd from 6.30 to 8.30pm.
