Partners: The Made In Collective

The Made In Collective are a group of young, London based designer makers currently made up of James Michael Shaw, Jack Neville, Julia Georgallis, Rosemary Anrude, Leila Chouikh, Toby Mower, Jess Jones, Ji Hyang Lee and Hyung Ok Park.  

Not happy with the loud, 'exhibition only' type of design that has been so prevalent in recent years, the collective came together through a common concern for appropriate use of materials and relevance to daily context in design.  As well as product design, the group often collaborate with other fields such as interior, graphic web and event in order to integrate product and furniture design with the rest of the design world (the debut exhibition Made in... at London Design Week 2010 sees a collaboration with graphic design duo, Studio Thomas, www.studiothomas.co.uk).
