AA|FAB is a two year research initiative at the Architectural Association School in London. The programme acts as an agency to foster interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration between members of the AA school community and outside participants who share a common interest in the emerging application of digital design and fabrication technologies. With generous support from some of the leading companies in the UK, the programme provides funding and resources for specific innovative research projects that explore the potential impact of digital technologies on the discipline of architectural design and production. In addition the cluster identifies and recognises similarly innovative built works through an international awards programme open to all young designers and architects.
AA|FAB is curated by Alan Dempsey and Kristine Mun. The programme is gernerously sponsored by leading UK companies including Land Securities, Arup, Adams Kara Taylor and Established & Sons, and directly supported by senior industry figures from each organisation.
