Partner Terms and Conditions

The following provides an agreement between The London Design Festival Ltd and partner organisations for the London Design Festival 2008. By ticking the relevant box you're confirming that you have read, understand and agree to comply with these terms.

1. The London Design Festival / Partner relationship:

The relationship between the London Design Festival and partner organisations in based on the following principles:

- A willingness and commitment to the exchange marketing information to maximise the impact of the Festival, and the component parts of its programme.

- A commitment to stage activity that is high quality and distinct from ongoing general activity such as extended opening hours.

- An understanding that the success of the London Design Festival depends on working in partnership. Partner organisations commit to promoting the Festival as a whole as well as their individual elements of the programme.

2. On completion of the on-line registration process and receipt of the participation fee, The London Design Festival agrees to:

- Provide a page for each partner organisation on the Festival's website with accompanying image and link to partner website. For event listings submitted before the 1 July deadline activity will also be listed on-line and in The Official Guide to the London Design Festival 2008 alongside map references and an image related to the event.

- Promote the Festival as a whole and each partner's activity through press, PR and marketing activity leading up to and during the Festival period, with the explicit aim of delivering stated objectives for each partner (see registration form). The Festival team will also distribute publicity material produced to promote Festival events at the Festival information hub at Southbank Centre.

- Provide partners with invitations to promotional and networking events as well as keeping you updated with developments and opportunities for the Festival period.

3. Once activity and listings are confirmed, Festival partners agree to:

- Use The London Design Festival branding in relation to their activity as widely as possible - for example on printed flyers, invitations and programmes as well as on websites providing listings information – alongside a link to The London Design Festival website (www.londondesignfestival.com) all in accordance with the London Design Festival brand guidelines.

- Exploit opportunities to raise the profile of the Festival through the presence of The London Design Festival brand in visible / public places, thus helping create the sense that a Festival is taking place across London (signage materials will be provided).

- Take delivery of, distribute and make available in public spaces copies of the Official Guide to The London Design Festival. An agreed number of guides will be delivered during late August / early September.

- Communicate the fact The London Design Festival is taking place throughout your organisation, in particular to ‘front of house’ staff that may have to field questions on the Festival and/or related activity.

- Include reference to The London Design Festival in press releases and related material, if even in the ‘notes’ section (suggested paragraph provided below).

'The London Design Festival 2008 takes place 13-23 September. The Festival programme includes content from across the design spectrum, staged by organisations throughout the capital. Visit www.londondesignfestival.com for more information'.

4. Partner Fee


The partner fee of £295 plus VAT is payable prior to submitting events listings. Should you wish to pay by cheque, please make them payable to ‘London Design Festival Ltd’. An invoice or receipt can be issued, on request.
