UK Pavilion at Shanghai World Expo

An outdoor showcase of the award winning UK Pavilion at Shanghai Expo by Heatherwick Studio through photography, architectural drawings and sketches to mark UK National Day at Shanghai Expo (8 September) and London Design Festival.

In the 5 months since opening the UK Pavilion has received over 5.5 million visitors and has also recently won the prestigious RIBA Lubetkin award for an international architecture project. 

The British Council is a major partner in the UK's presence at the Shanghai World Expo. The Expo is an opportunity to showcase links between the UK and China, to develop the cultural relationship between China and the UK and to lay the ground for future partnerships between the two countries.
