Designs of the Year 2012

08 February 2012 – 4 July 2012

The Design Museum’s Design Awards, ‘the Oscars of the design world’, showcases the most innovative and progressive designs from around the world, spanning seven categories: Architecture, Fashion, Furniture, Graphics, Digital, Transport and Product. A high profile judging panel will decide the best entries in each of the seven categories. Category award winners and the overall winner of the Design of the Year Award 2012 will be announced at an Awards event in April 2012.

This year’s winner was British designer Samuel Wilkinson and product designer Hulger for their unique Plumen light bulb 001 design.
