All things design

Why get involved?

The range of organisations contributing to the London Design Festival programme reflects the host of reasons to get involved. Common motivations include:

- Marketing services, ideas and products
- Gaining access to substantive new audiences / customers
- Developing profile for individuals and/or organisations
- Demonstrating (showing off!) talent
- Connecting with the creative community, locally, across London and the world
- Exchanging ideas, developing business contacts & entertaining clients
- Launching new products
- Having fun and being part of London’s creative buzz

The Festival model is simple, allowing participating organisations to pursue their own objectives through Festival activity. Events can be big or small, fun or serious, public or by invitation, free or fee-paying. They simply have to be relevant (design-related) and delivered to a high quality.

By taking part in the Festival you’re able to take advantage of a series of marketing and promotion activities and resources delivered by the Festival team:

- Listing in the annual Official Guide to the London Design Festival. Containing
details on each Festival event, the guide is free and made available through over 300 venues across London and beyond. We print 80,000 copies.

- Branding and marketing material – including signage to promote Festival venues,
copies of the Guide and specially designed display units

- Website listing for each event and a dedicated page for each partner organisation
(see www.londondesignfestival.com)

- Inclusion in regular email updates sent to the Festival’s database of over 25,000
contacts, including the daily e-newsletter, sent out daily during the Festival.

(see www.camron.co.uk). The campaign targets a broad range of media, including trade, international, London, general and consumer titles, listings, news and on-line outlets.
