All things design

Dates

13-23 September

Each Festival is made up of a different blend of contributions, events and visitor experiences. As the Festival continues to develop we work to refine the programme; ensuring the programme is relevant to the broadest possible audiences.

In 2008 the Festival will work with a limited number of strategic partners to deliver elements of the programme, including:

Pentagram Design Graphic design and production
Carrenza / BD-NTWK Website and digital platforms
Camron Press, PR and promotion

The Festival team also works with the Southbank Centre to stage a ‘central hub’ at The Royal Festival Hall, including a programme of activity alongside a dedicated information resource for festival visitors. The hub programme will run 13-17 September.

The Festival develops activity content with third parties. For example, we’re working with The Financial Times and Wallpaper Magazine on two series of design talks.

Alongside the activity delivered directly by the Festival team there are a number of high profile shows that make up the core of the Festival programme, including 100% Design London at Earls Court, Tent London, staged at the Old Truman Brewery in east London. Plans are also developing for exciting activity in key London spaces and venues such as Trafalgar Square, the Brompton Quarter, the V&A, Somerset House, the Oxo Tower and many more.
