Better Letters brings three workshops and the Glowing Alphabet Peep Show to this year's festival. Visitors can take a crash course in signwriting, hand lettering, or glass gilding from international lettering legends, and take a glimpse through the peep holes in a lettering-filled curiosity cabinet.

Literary legends of Bankside will come alive through a series of installations by master calligrapher Paul Antonio. Historic Borough High St, one of London’s oldest thoroughfares, was walked by Chaucer, Dickens and Shakespeare. Quotes will be inscribed on windows in the letterforms of the period.
