Collaboration between footwear designer Tracey Neuls and furniture designer Tord Boontje.

Shoreditch Highstreet/ Liverpool Street

Following a successful collaboration together in 2010, footwear designer Tracey Neuls and furniture designer Tord Boontje are back again for an exclusive footwear launch.

Their playful approach to design and like-mindedness has resulted in a special limited edition footwear collection, celebrating the humble and curious squirrel.

Neuls and Boontje share a great liking for these inquisitive, clever, little creatures. Tord Boontje uses this signature squirrel and its autumnal surroundings to play with print and laser cut leather. Tracey Neuls provides her distinctive sculptural heeled pump and classic rubber soled derby flats.

Emotion and narrative inspire the final forms, resulting in iconic designs that reveal an elegant but playful side of the wearers’ personality.

In celebration of London Design Festival 2016, Tracey Neuls goes 'Back to school' Reinterpreting shapes that Tracey designed back during her years at London College of Fashion - Cordwainers. Her Marylebone Lane shop has been turned into a classroom and throughout September to November, we will be hosting a series of talks. Classroom space is very limited, booking in advance is highly recommended.

Tracey Neuls is a vital force in contemporary footwear design and known as 'the designers designer.' In a market saturated by sameness, Neuls always breaks the mould and presents something unique and intriguing.

The way Neuls designs is getting rarer. She's doesn't simply choose components off a factory shelf, she designs every detail herself. All toe shapes and sculptural heels are signature to her. Bridging the gap between art and design, her footwear is conceptual yet wearable and for the past 16 years has succeeded in designing shoes that are comfortable and beautiful, two elements that aren't always found together.

'Good design is something you feel as much as you see' - Tracey Neuls

Voted 'Top Ten Creative in London' By TimeOut 2013. Tracey Neuls was nominated for 'Designs of the Year 2014' by the London Design Museum for her innovative rubber sole bike collection. She has also launched a men's collection.
