Award-winning British designer, Lee Broom launches his fifth collection at The London Design Festival, a dramatic debut upholstery collection entitled 'Salon'.
The collection consists of six furniture pieces, inspired by the curvaceous lines of 1930s upholstery. This is contrasted and accentuated with modern stud detailing, traditionally used in upholstery to hide elements of the manufacturing process. Broom has chosen to focus on these faceted metal embellishments to give the collection a chic and edgy look. The finished result is a polished, contemporary furniture range that echoes the iconic designs of luxury fashion accessories and punk rock couture.
As part of the London Design Festival, Broom will be transforming his Shoreditch studio into an exclusive design salon where visitors can view the furniture range in a surreal and intimate setting.
Opening times: 10am - 4pm, Tue. 10am - 8pm, Wed - Sat. 11am - 6pm, Sun.
