The Royal Institute of British Architects announces the sixteen collaborations for this year’s RIBA Regent Street Windows Project.

Now in its fifth year, the RIBA Regent Street Windows Project have matched cutting edge RIBA architects with some of London’s most prestigious retailers to create stunning architectural installations in shop windows along and around London’s Regent Street, W1. This year sixteen architecture practices have worked with sixteen retailers to create a sequence of stunning architectural installations on Regent Street, Heddon Street and Brewer Street.

These unique and eye-catching displays demonstrate the innovation and creativity of architects whilst demonstrating the retailers' commitment to quality design. The installations both enhance the retail experience for the customer and increasing footfall for the retailer.

This year the installations will be up for three weeks from 1-21 September 2014. Regent Street has become a platform for design, where architects, designers and fashion designers showcase and explain their work in a celebration of all things ‘designer’ over the three week period.

Participating retailers and architects in 2014 include:

Banana Republic with Make Architects
Topshop with Atmos
Hackett with Jerry Tate Architects
Karen Millen with EKM Works
Aquascutum with vPPR Architects
Hobbs with Donald Insall Associates
Jack Spade with Mobile Studio
Longchamp with Brisac Gonzalez
Tibits with Edgley Design
L'Occitane with Emulsion
Penhaligon's with Al-Jawad Pike
Brooks Brothers with Squire and Partners
GANT with Sybarite Architects
Folli Follie with Denizen Works
Illy Caffé with Raw Architecture Workshop

The project is run in partnership with The Crown Estate and Regent Street Association.
