A salon conversation involving the youngest generation of designers about their objectives and work methods. Panelists comprise Marjan van Aubel, Silo Studio, Sarah van Gameren (Glithero) and Soft Baroque. Moderated by Max Fraser.

The role of the designer has changed in the last 20 years. Young designers now act in a host of positions such as entrepreneurs, engineers, strategists, inventors, community workers and more. They share knowledge and collaborate with scientists and academics. Digitalisation and online exposure have created even bigger changes for design and the role of the designer. For this year's Global Design Forum at the V&A, Ineke Hans has curated a conversation between Dutch and UK designers that looks into the changing position of the designer and the future changes to come. Max Fraser, design editor, publisher and founder of London Design Guide will moderate the event, talking to the youngest generation of designers about their drives and objectives in design.
