Objects With A Void is a design exhibition concerning the idea of voids in objects. The exhibition explores possibilities of designing by focusing on an aspect of an object that is often overlooked but always present. A bowl made by creating a void in wood, an arched bridge constructed on top of false work which will become void upon completion. Functional or coincidental, voids in objects have the power to define the function and aesthetics of designed objects. The works in the show will illustrate various relationships between an object and its void.
