Moquette For London

London Transport Museum invites you to a Moquette for London design evening as part of the London Design Festival on Wednesday 22 September 2010.

The event will include a series of short talks from Transport for London's Design and Heritage Manager Mike Ashworth, innovative woven textile design duo Wallace & Sewell and award winning textile designer, Margo Selby . The talks will offer an insight into the moquette brand and identity, design legacy, history, and why noted fabric and textile designers are getting involved in its future. The evening will also include exclusive tours of the Museum's Design for Travel gallery with David Worthington, Chair of the UK Design Alliance. Complete your evening with a moquette themed make and take craft workshop with The Make Lounge.
