An exhibition celebrating studio ceramics across the UK featuring creative and innovative work from London based makers

Made It is a selling exhibition celebrating the diversity of studio ceramics from across the UK, featuring creative and innovative work from London based designer-makers.

Contemporary Ceramics will be showcasing the work of 16 makers, all of whom demonstrate an individual personal vision with a common starting point, that of using clay. The diversity of work exhibited illustrates the creative possibilities that can be explored within a single discipline. The exhibition features the work of London based makers, including the construction pieces of Jonathan Wade, the abstract sculptural forms of Merete Rasmussen, and the delicate wall pieces by Valeria Nascimento.

Other work on show highlights this dynamic diversity and includes the energetic and confrontational depiction of animals and figures by Emma Rodgers, the intriguing and petite organic forms by Geoffrey Swindell, the subtle inlaid and laminated vessels of Susan Nemeth and the still-life reference of the bottles, pods and teardrops by Sophie Cook.
