Can TV remote control become a valuable object? EPFL+ECAL Lab, in collaboration with the Kudelski Group, has invited four art schools to rethink this daily link between our real body and the digital world: the Royal College of Art, ENSCI - Les Ateliers, Parsons – the New School for Design, and ECAL.

EPFL+ECAL Lab

Founded in 2007, the EPFL+ECAL Lab is a unit of the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, located on the premises of its founding partner ECAL/University of art and design Lausanne. It cooperates on a regular basis with several top design schools such as the Royal College of Art (London) and ENSCI-Les Ateliers (Paris). Its mission is to explore the prospects of technologies emerging from research labs and to open up new fields of action for designers. The EPFL+ECAL Lab conducts numerous projects with industrial partners.
