EDC London hosts Ørgreen Playground: Skyline Edition

World-renowned eyewear design firm Ørgreen has joined forces with exclusive furniture brand Republic of Fritz Hansen™ to produce a series of Arne Jacobsen Swan™ chairs that feature the same Copenhagen skyline design as a special edition collection of eyewear by Ørgreen.
The collaboration sees the bringing together of two brands renowned for their creativity, high quality and craftsmanship.

With the launch of their special edition København sunglasses range, Ørgreen take eyewear to new heights with Copenhagen's beautiful skyline as a fine laser cut detail along the temples of the frame. The Swan™ chair, designed by the legendary Danish architect Arne Jacobsen in 1958, will also carry the same design as an elegant detail stitched on the wool front of the chair and classic full leather back.

Special edition Københaven frames and Swan chairs will be available to purchase during the Festival and will continue to be stocked exclusively at EDC London.

On Wednesday 22 September join us for a live design workshop where upholster Hans Mannerhagen of Fritz Hansen and Tobias Wandrup and Henrik Ørgreen will uncover the creative process behind the chairs and frames.

This project is part of Fitzrovia CREATIVE, a showcase of the area’s creative output taking place on the evening of Wednesday 22 September.
