Exhibition

As a female owned and run business we have decided to celebrate the female maker in a week long exhibition of ceramic artistry. Keramos is the Greek word for pottery and this exhibition explores the definition and reclassification of humble plant pot into functional sculpture.

To celebrate London Design Festival 2017 we have commissioned over 60 artists to create vessels specifically for cacti and succulents.

As a female owned and female run business we have decided to celebrate the female maker in a week long exhibition of ceramic artistry. The word ceramic is derived from the Greek word Keramos, meaning pottery and this exhibition explores the definition and reclassification of a humble plant pot into functional sculpture.

London is abounding in artists, and from its beginning, Prick based in East London, have stocked pots created by local independent ceramicists to highlight and promote the talent of our city as well as provide our plants in a deserving pot.

The exhibition will run 19th-24th September in our shop 492 Kingsland Rd London E8 4AE
with a press preview night on 18th September all pieces are for sale with collection at the end of the show.

We believe our plants to be living sculptures and the pot, a device to frame and elevate its beauty.
