FENDI and the RCA

FENDI will celebrate the opening of its new store on Sloane Street with a special tribute to the Royal College of Art and British design.

Students from the RCA Design Products Department have been invited to create special window displays incorporating innovative uses of Fendi's signature craftsmanship techniques along with discarded materials which will be unveiled on September 17th. On the opening night students will create a site-specific design installation, showcasing the creative process that lead them through their projects.

This collaboration represents the wonderful cross-pollination between the worlds of fashion and design, illustrating the deep affinity that exists between creativity, function, research, experimentation, heritage and future.
