In the FBC London ‘Meet the Maker’ series, we take an in-depth look at the inspiration behind some of our collaborations with leading artists and designers. The first in the series starts with FBC London Founder, Fiona Barratt-Campbell, & award-winning ceramicist Tessa Eastman.

To celebrate the best of British craftsmanship and manufacturing, FBC London presents its first ‘Meet the Maker’ in a yearlong series of events. Fiona Barratt-Campbell, Founder of FBC London, will tell the story of her designs, drawing inspiration from history and the natural world, creating timeless and luxurious pieces through simplistic elegance, textural ingenious and attention to detail.

FBC London work with a variety of artisans and craftsmen combining traditional and modern techniques with a variety of materials and finishes and our workshop will be run by award winning ceramicist Tessa Eastman. Inspired by the ‘strangeness of growth’ within organic forms and patterns, Eastman will demonstrate the making of her hand-crafted pieces, and answer any questions with a Q&A session.
