In the UK government there are 600 designers and 10 heads of design working to build better public services.

During London Design Festival, we are holding a cross-government design meetup, open to the public, featuring talks from Arup director Dan Hill and designers from across the public sector.

During London Design Festival, designers from across government are organising a series of 3 events to talk about design in the public sector.

We are holding a Cross-Government Design Meetup on 18 September at the Design Museum. The free event is open to the public and will feature a guest presentation from Arup director Dan Hill and leading designers from across the public sector. We are also holding a Career Day at the Government Digital Service’s office in Aldgate. This free event will be held on 19 September is open to people who are interested in a career in public sector design. We are also organising a Govdesign meetup on the evening of 19 September, also at the GDS offices in Aldgate.
