A Chair Affair

For London Design Festival 2011, Natuzzi has invited creatives from across the UK to offer a re-design of their iconic Sound Chair. Ten up-and-coming designers will re-design chairs for the ‘Chair Affair’ exhibition, including Davide Bianchi, who is part of Designersblock, Liqui Design, Joachim King, Urban Upholstery and Francesca Mancini who are all part of Hidden Art. Each of the talented designers, or design collectives will offer their alternative designs by painting, embellishing, reupholstering and in some case, completely remodelling the existing Sound Chairs. Their exciting creations will then be exhibited at the Natuzzi store, 80-81 Tottenham Court Road, London W1T 4TE from 17th to 25th September along with a collection of re-designed Natuzzi chairs by international designers from Belgium and Russia. A private view reception, sponsored by Italian aperitif Aperol, will also be held in store on Wednesday 21st September from 6pm – 9pm.
