Design collective Black + White + Colour present the best new product design, graphic design and illustration in their inaugural pop-up shop, transforming two London Fields shipping containers into a kaleidoscope of covetable objects, unique designers and creative events.

The brainchild of graphic designer Emma Kalkhoven, illustrator Susie Hogarth and theatre designer Cecilia Carey, BLACK + WHITE + COLOUR is a new London-based design collective and creative studio. Representing the brightest and most beautiful product design, graphic design and illustration, BLACK + WHITE + COLOUR will be launching this September with a pop-up shop and exhibition space as part of London Design Festival.

BLACK + WHITE + COLOUR believe in bold, contemporary design with a playful spirit. They love clean lines, messy processes and bright sparks. They love the contrast between an inky line drawing and a splash of neon. So they’ve invited a select group of their favourite young designers to join them in creating mono- and polychromatic pieces for exhibition and purchase in their pop-up space.

The BLACK + WHITE + COLOUR shop will be a kaleidoscope of colour, line and creativity. The collective will be undertaking a complete transformation of two shipping containers in London Fields and opening with a launch party featuring music, projections, bespoke black, white and coloured canapes and cocktails exclusively designed for the event by food artists Bompas and Parr.

Then, over the weekend, they will welcome the public into a unique and immersive world of covetable objects, unique designers, and dynamic events, all rendered vividly in a million shades of black and white and colour.
