The Danish Design group avantGarden are all graduated with master degrees from The Danish Design School. Since then, Textile designer Tina Ratzer, Ceramic designers Meyer - Lavigne, Ceramic designer Louise Gaardmann and illustrator Lisa Grue have been active in the commercial and art/design world developing their own personal style.
Their theme for the London Design Festival is called Beautiful Mortality. Together they will create a magical world, with products specially made for the festival, all with its roots in their theme. They will design in different materials, such as wood, ceramic and textile.
