An Explorative Reinterpretation of the Traditional Art of Maps.
A meeting of minds, creators old and new begin an exploration into the traditional art of cartography.

The exhibition will be showing new pieces by Kristjana, working upon maps spanning from London to China and finally the world. The artist uses her signature collaged techniques to reinvent and give a new life to these incredible works of art. For the first time also exhibiting three dimensional work surrounding cartography.

The Map House is London's oldest specialist antiquarian map seller, the six galleries contain the finest and most comprehensive selection of original maps from the dawn of exploration through to 20th century cartographic design classics.

Kristjana S Williams is an artist who's work spans the world of illustration, design and fashion. The work composes of strong graphic lines juxtaposed with intricate victorian engravings. Comprising of collages of material collected from victorian engravings, photographs and found objects. The art of Cartography is one which has fascinated the artist since childhood, following the bold lines and antiquarian aesthetic with her signature flora and fauna.
