ADORN

All female design collective and collaborative group FLOCK, present their first public exhibition Adorn. This exhibition of collected work, experiments and self expression from both emerging and established female creators, will challenge the conventional and traditional concepts of the feminine charged word adornment.
Each creator has tackled their individual connection with this multifaceted concept, to shed light on the strong relationship between decoration and femininity; both the negative preconceptions and restrictions attached with this form of expression and the interesting world of products and spaces that it can lead to. In doing so it will bring in to question the relationship adornment has with everything from furniture and space to eating ceremonies and the city.
