We think it was our best yet. The New York Times crowned London "the place to check out the latest in boundary-pushing fashions, furnishings and installations". Around 350,000 people visited our programme of 312 projects and events. Click on the images below to revsit a few of 2011's most special moments.

Ai Weiwei: Dropping the Urn

A selection of ceramic works and photographs made from 1993 to the present day, this exhibition offers a rare opportunity to see these Chinese contemporary artworks by Ai Weiwei. More

An exhibition of prints from the RCA Printmaking programme celebrating the Royal Shakespeare Company’s 50th birthday. Original lithographs made in 1964 to mark Shakespeare’s quarto-centenary including work by Joe Tilson, Allen Jones, Elizabeth Frink, Norman Ackroyd and Sandra Blow plus new prints by students, staff and invited artists such as Bob & Roberta Smith, Adam Dant and Christiana Baumgartner. TYPO London 2011

Based on Europe's most successful annual design conference TYPO Berlin, brings together some 1,000 creative communication professionals and students with backgrounds in typography, information and graphic design, digital design for screen and device and UX will have the opportunity to follow an eclectic and inspiring mix of talks by the influential creative thinkers – among them Michael Bierut, Neville Brody, Dale Herigstad, Chip Kidd, Lawrence Weiner, Erik Spiekermann, and many more. More
