From aircraft to furniture to clothing, Marc Newson is the definition of a multi-disciplinary designer
The second London Design Medal was awarded to Australian-born London resident Marc Newson. Presented by Aston Martin CEO, Dr Ulric Bez, the medal was awarded to Newson for his outstanding contribution to design. Newson's remarkable range as an industrial designer stretches from aircraft design, product design, furniture design and jewellery to clothing.
In 2009, Marc Newson's Supercell was the London Design Festival's Size + Matter commission.
