Sarah Hyndman of With Relish was one of the winners of last year's one-hour typography competition. She's has just designed a visual theme for the Philharmonia Orchestra’s autumn season of work, which will be publicly unveiled this week. With Relish have been working with the Philharmonia Orchestra since 2006, creating visual themes for each season. There is something about type going around. There was the Letterpress: Forward Thinking event a couple of weeks ago at St Brides, and Simon Garfield's book on fonts, Just My Type looking like being a Christmas hit. I notice too that with 18 days still to go on Kickstarter, Linotype: The Film has already raised $6,356 over its target.  The documentary, which is due to be finished next year, is a paen to Ottmar Mergenthaler's 1886 machine which revolutionised print and which Fleet Street relied on for 100 years until new digital print technology swept this remarkable invention out of... This September the London Design Festival will be eight years old. In what seems like an incredibly short space of time it's grown from around 40 events to the size it is today, hosting around 230 events right across London. Over the next few weeks in the run up to this year's Festival, we're going to remind ourselves of some of the milestones. I went to John Pawson's exhibition at Design museum last year.
His sophisticated works were very impressive and inspiring.
I am looking forward to seeing this installation very much.

I like it very much!
It is much easier to find an exact place and information.
I will surely use this calendar for LDF this year!

It collaborated very well with installantion of Ron Arad called curtain call at Roundhouse.
