A question. If the UK is home to the best designers in the world, why doesn't it also have the best writers about design? Or maybe it does. Print journalism has already given us the great Alice Rawsthornes, Deyan Sudjics and others of the world but can the digital generation produce an entirely new era of British design criticism? For the nine days of the London Design Festival, we want to see if we can find a way to shine a light on the talent that's already out there, raise the bar for those who are already established, and at the same time draw in a whole new pool of enthusiasts and... How do you define ‘in the UK’?  We are based in Brighton, Florida and elsewhere. Recent blogs have been about Austrian, Australian, British, Italian and American products. We bring products from anywhere to the attention of designers and consumers everywhere.

Being an international event London Design Festival could also consider international interior design blogs - this is a field where there are many blogs, but not so many quality writing.

John Pawson: Focused Perspectives at St Paul's

I went to John Pawson's exhibition at Design museum last year.
His sophisticated works were very impressive and inspiring.
