When I visited the Rainbow House two years ago, it was half-way through being rebuilt. I was there to interview the artist Richard Woods who was creating the house's floors using his trademark "logos". "The woman who owns it is a former Miss Russia," Woods had explained, before trying in vain to demonstrate the revolving bed upstairs. He had been commissioned by his friend, the architect Ab Rogers who was working on the house in Portobello Road. It was completed last year. It's nice to have a peek at the finished version. I went to John Pawson's exhibition at Design museum last year.
His sophisticated works were very impressive and inspiring.
I am looking forward to seeing this installation very much.
