Zaha Hadid at the V&A 

Zaha Hadid is showing a designed chandelier at the Victoria and Albert Museum (20 june-20 July). The Swarm chandelier is offered by the furniture manifacturer Established & Sons and it is a unique example of Hadid’s theorical research.

Drawing words 

A new exhibition at ICA explores the relations between drawing and writing. Graphic designers show machines and programmes that allow them to design words and texts. Find out more about the contemporary evolution of graphic design at "A recent history of drawing and writing", from 9 July.

Psycho buildings

Architecture and design form an indissoluble couple and the Psycho buildings exhibition at The Hayward (Southbank Centre) knows it well. Ten artists from all over the world show their habitat-like sculptures and explore various environments both psychologically and physically.

From the house to the city 

Richard Rogers is one of the most important British architects, he was recently given a Member of the Order of the Companions of Honour in this year's Queen's birthday list. The Design Museum celebrates his genius in From the house to the city (24 April-25 August), an exhibition focused on the projects, background and vision of Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners.

Free Range of Graduates

Last night I ended up at the Free Range of Graduates, the art & design summer students exhibition hosted in Bricklane from the 30th of May to the 21rd of July. I particularly liked the works of a talented young photographer, Rachel Atterton.

Watch out: new designers are back. Young talents from architecture and design will surprise you again this year from the 3 to the 6 of June and from the 10 to the 13. There is no other exhibition in London that attracts design companies more than this one. Don’t miss it.
