London Design Festival 2007 - Opening Reception
The London Design Festival officially launched its annual design extravaganza at a gala reception in the ballroom of the newly renovated Royal Festival Hall ballroom on 17 September.
Over 800 visitors witnessed the award of the Festival’s first Design Medal to the architect Zaha Hadid. The Medal will be awarded annually to someone who has made a immense contribution to design.
